Wear the garment of RIGHTEUOSNESS; it completes your attire…..

Defined – Righteousness – The acceptance of the one who is righteous

“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”  2 Corinthians 5:21

“Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.”  Proverbs 21:21

We are the final piece of clothing for a victorious life.  This should have been the first piece of clothing to put on, but not quite!  Righteousness has everything to do with our salvation.  Jesus came and died for our righteousness.  It is only through the Father’s love; we are righteous and can live righteous lives. Lives morally correct with right behaviors towards our fellow brothers and sisters. 

We are admonished to behave morally correct towards our brothers and sisters in Christ as well as those in creation.  In and of ourselves, we are not equipped to lives righteous lives outside of Christ.  He is the only one who is able to equip us to live peacefully with all men. “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men (Romans 12:18).” It is our duty to live right with all men.

This garment of righteousness is to be worn all day every day. It will help us to wear all other garments properly.  In other words, we must be born again.  Jesus came and He died for the propitiation of our sins.  He died for us and clothe us in His righteousness. We are clothe in Him; therefore, we have what is needed to love our fellow brothers.

Without Jesus, we are as the prophet Isaiah said; “For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away (Isaiah 64:6).” As we receive Him, our lives become anew and the life of the flesh fades away.

Wear this garment and love on your fellow brothers and sisters.  As a matter of fact, we are better able to suffer long with each other without so many issues against the creation of mankind.  Wear this garment, it is the right garment for your attire.  Your wardrobe is incomplete without it.
