Wear the Garment of Joy

D o wear the garment of JOY, it brings excitement to your attire……

Defined – Joy – (GK; Zara) joy, gladness, a source of joy.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”   Romans 15:13

“………Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”  Nehemiah 8:10

Joy is our prescription for successful dressing, for Victory in 2017.  I have found that the more we complain, the further we push ourselves back from breakthrough. God never allowed the complaints of the children of Israel to force Him from their wilderness wandering.  As a matter fact, He allowed forty years to complete a three to eleven day journey.  Joy cannot come out of a complaining heart/spirit.

If we wear the garment of peace, it has a way of expressing the joy that is within our hearts filled by God.  The Apostle wrote that it is a peace that surpasses all understanding, and a joy that is unspeakable and full of glory.  “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory (1 Peter 1:8).” It is when we know God; we are able to receive His joy.  He is joy!

Walking in the spirit of joy is so fulfilling for life’s endeavor.  We have a choice; decide to accept Christ and take on the spirit of joy as it is poured into us as we live for Him.  When trials come, we’re better able to push past the trial and experience his joy. His joy becomes our strength in the middle of the trial, and it is that ability to supersede beyond the trial.

Wear the garment of joy; it brings excitement to your attire.  Joy is exciting!  Our excitement can become contagious to others.  When people see your excitement, they want what you have. Especially, when others know you are not trial free! Wear this exciting garment!
