Wear the Garment of Praise!

Do wear the garment of PRAISE, it is a perfect fit……..

Praise defined - The expression of gratitude for personal favors conferred; a glorifying or extolling.

“Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.” Hebrews 13:5

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!” Psalm 150:6

Oh how exciting it is to talk about these garments as I continue my series on Getting Dress for Success!   We have covered what not to wear.  Now, we will share the garments to wear for success in 2017.  Again these are mini teachings, yet enough to share with you about the subject at hand.

We are living creatures created to praise and worship our Heavenly Father. He knew we would need to praise Him, due to the sin nature.  It is in our praise that we are able to reconnect to our Creator.  Our praise brings us into His presence to help defeat the works of the sin nature and our adversary the devil. “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name (Psalm 100:4).”

As believers in Christ, we should desire to be in His presence for His help with the battles we face. When we praise Him, we get His attention.  Getting His attention is very important for our dilemma.  We are all subject to problems, but we are not all willing to praise our creator for what has already bestowed upon us.

Praising Him ignites us to talk about His goodness and sovereign acts of love. It is in praise we tell others about His goodness rather than our problems.  We highlight who He is, rather than what our problems are; this is praise! 

Let us offer continually the sacrifice of praise to God and His word further declares, let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Therefore; when we wear this garment, we are sure to achieve the success needed. Praise is a perfect fit!
